MAX

Max was diagnosed with Peroxisomal Biogenesis Disorder (PBD), which significantly affects both his vision and hearing.  Due to his limited sensory input, his desire to move and explore was inhibited.  The NCHS students designed Max's car to properly support and securely allow him to drive himself to discover the joys of mobility.  A large switch was mounted on the steering wheel so Max can independently operate the car.

We added the black sidebars for safety, along with a parent control handle and a seat belt harness.  The red button allows for independent activation of the car.
